Go to www.openkj.org and click on the "Software" link in the top banner.

Once on the Software page, click button for your OS download under "Current stable version downloads."

Double-click the downloaded installer file, which will install OpenKJ on your PC or laptop.

Ensure that you have a songs DB folder that you can point to (such as c:\karaoke); that folder should contain all the songs you're legally allowed to play

During install of OpenKJ, you will be prompted for your song db location; once you select that folder, OpenKJ then will import links to all your songs

Choose the "SongBook" link in the top banner. Register for a SongBook account - 1st month is free. This allows you to setup venues for your karaoke hosting.
